The roots of the Easter story: Where did Christian beliefs about Jesus’ resurrection come from?

As Easter approaches, Christians around the world begin to focus on two of the central tenets of their faith: the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. Other charismatic Jewish teachers or miracle workers were active in Judea around the same time, approximately 2,000 years ago. What set Jesus apart was his followers’ belief in […]

Happy Easter 🐰

The Flensburg Files would like to wish you and your family the best wishes for Easter. This past winter was one for the books as the warmest on record. This crocus photographed here came at the beginning of March, which was one of the earliest on record as well. Will we see an even warmer than normal year, or will it be unseasonably cooler? Will we reap the harvest or will we be in uncharted waters. One thing that is a constant variant is that family will always be the one that stands out, and one that will keep the planet together, no matter what happens. Family is always everything. ❤️

Happy Easter, Folks! 🐰🐣🌼

Immediately after the disaster, people were asking if it could be prevented, and it became clear that it is not possible to build a bridge anchor that can withstand the impact […]

The United States Has Too Few Road Tunnels

An update on the FS Key Bridge: The bridge collapse has raised several questions. Apart from the question of bridge design and the necessity of having super cargo ships, the biggest question is why the USA lack tunnels as crossings, something that Germany has more of, including the upcoming projects at Fehmarn. A look at the advantages and concerns of having tunnels as alternatives.
