An American legend turned 100 this past weekend and the Files is paying tribute to an actor who has been in the business for over eight decades. Dick van Dyke is one of my all-time favorites that I have enjoyed watching. His witty humor and his dancing style are his signature. His colorful roles in films and TV series have made him a loving figure for all generations. Whether it is his roles in Disney films, such as Mary Poppins, or his sneaky misdemeanor in Night at the Theater, or his front and center but helpful character as Dr. Sloan in Diagnosis Murder, Dick has made everyone smile, laugh, cry and even be curious, all at the same time. His passion for acting, dancing and singing has been passed down to his children and beyond, passing down the torch while he continues to make us happy, even in the toughest times.
And with that, the song by the music group Coldplay entitled All My Love. This song was released earlier this year as a tribute to a Hollywood giant. And this song needs no further introduction beyond that.
And with that, here’s to you, Dick. Happy 100th birthday from your favorite fan and everyone else at the Files. 🎄🎉🎁❤️
