US Surgeon General calls for social media warning labels to protect adolescents

Already measures are being sought to restrict access to social media for children and adolescents, as we see in Florida. But an idea for a warning label is controversial. For cigarettes and alcohol yes, for fatty foods and sweets it’s imaginable but tough to pass.

But what about the use of social media?

  1. I remember the AOL chat rooms & all the destroyed marriages, including my own. This is a warning that is coming twenty years too late & should be have been issued to all social media users. Of course, some people will never listen to any warning on any label or issued by any authority.
