This photo was taken by Alfredo Hernandez at a subway station in Hong Kong. While these were spraypainted in Chinese (specifically, in Mandarin), the translation into English speaks more volumes than what is spoken.
With the Corona Virus, we have left our usual normal and have entered the unknown. Even if this virus passes, all attempts to return to the old normal will be futile. We will be entering a new normal and that one will have opposites of what we had been used to. We had overcrowding, pollution, degradation of habitat, greed, money and power. Perhaps this virus will serve as a wake-up call for all of us to use our heads and think, asking ourselves this question, everyday:
Is it worth the price?
