In connection with the recent shooting spree involving Asian-Americans at three massage studios in Atlanta, there has been a growing call to put an end to the issue of racism, for like the Corona-Virus, the topic has become tiring and people would like to just simply move on. This Photo Flick shows us that we cannot stop talking about it unless we find a way to stop it, especially when looking at it from the point of view of those who are dealing with it.
This pic was taken by Matt Alan and can be found in England (judging by the street setting and the road sign). And like the issue with racism, this should also apply to the issue with Covid-19, the lockdowns and other meausres taken to protect others from getting infected. While they do not go hand-in-hand directly, I can imagine something along this line:
IF YOU ARE TIRED OF TALKING ABOUT COVID-19, IMAGINE HOW TIRED PEOPLE ARE WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED IT AND WHO HAVE WORKED WITH THOSE AFFECTED BY IT!
A Denkzettel for the QAnons, Querdenkers, Conspiracy Theorists and those who are indeed tired of the virus, even as cases start to soar like rockets in Germany and Europe and leaders are considering lockdowns last seen at Christmas.
And a memo to Joe Biden: do the same like we’re doing, for the wave will hit the USA when you least expected it….
