In connection with The Flensburg Files’ 10th anniversary special, I would like to take ourselves back to 2016. There I wrote an Genre of the Week piece on the song “Don’t Dream It’s Over. ” Originally produced by Crowded House, it was later remade by Sixpence None The Richer, going by the melody and the lyrics. The difference is how the music videos by the two groups were produced and released. Therefore, I produced a media exercise for everyone to try in class.
